Yana Martynenko

Directions of work:
– estimation of motor, speech and cognitive development;
–medical support of children in the risk group (preterm infants, hypoxic and hemorrhagic disorders of the CNS, traumatic disorders of the nervous system during childbirth, inflammatory diseases during the neonatal period;
– early diagnosis and monitoring of children with infantile cerebral palsy, birth defects of the brain and spinal cord, hydrocephalus, neuromuscular diseases, demyelinating diseases, hereditary metabolic diseases with disorders of the nervous system, space-occupying lesion, epilepsy;
– medical support of children with consequences of traumatic disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system, inflammatory diseases of the nervous system, acute cerebrovascular diseases;
–consulting assistance for children with headaches, syncopal conditions, sleeping disorders (including enuresis), behavioral disorders, epileptic attacks.

Education
In 2006, graduation from S. I. Heorhiievskyi Crimean National Medical University, specialty “general medicine”.
From 2006 till 2008, internship with a specialization in “neurology” at the department of post-gradual education of Crimean National Medical University.
In 2009, primary specialization at Kharkiv Academy of Post-Gradual Education, specialty “child neurology”.
From 2011, an extramural post-graduate student of the National University “Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”. Yana is writing a thesis research on the topic: “Peculiarities of development of the central nervous system of children born with an extremely low birth weight (clinical picture, neurovisualization, treatment tactics, prognosis)”.

Professional experience
From 2008 till 2009, a child neurologist in Kherson City Children’s Polyclinic.
From 2009 till 2014, a neurologist in the department of neurology of early age and held consultations for one-year-old children and children with epileptic attacks at the Clinical Institution “Kherson Regional Clinical Children’s Hospital” of Kherson Regional Council.
From 2014, works at the Medical Center of Physical Therapy and Pain Medicine “Innovo”, Lviv.
Current member of the European Paediatric Neurology Society (EPNS).

International experience
In 2013, report at XI International Congress in Perinatal Medicine on “The date of analysis of material risk factors for extremely low birth weight infants”, “Hyperglycemia is a risk factor for early death and morbidity in extremely low birth weight infants”, Moscow, Russian Federation.
